Our Story
SRGE is a firm focused on using the science of entrepreneurship to fuel growth. We are starting with effectuation, but we are working to incorporate more entrepreneurship methods into our materials and our services. Currently we are developing new material using Robert Cialdini’s principles of persuasion, Henry Chesborough’s Open Innovation, and Ted Baker’s Brickolage. These are all examples of development networks that we plan on working into our services going forward.
We built SRGE in reverse. SRGE did not start with a bright idea, or a detailed plan, we started by talking to people. In our infancy, we had only our knowledge of effectuation (a development framework), and our desire to start something. Beyond that, we had little idea what we would do, and to find out we started talking to potential stakeholders. Those conversations created SRGE. SRGE was not imagined by us; it was created in response to customer needs. Currently SRGE is providing effectuation based services to 3 firms.
